Terms of Use

Effective November 6, 2026 · Last updated November 6, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of bakerandbroderick.com (the “Site”), operated by Baker & Broderick Business Consultancy (“Baker & Broderick,” “we,” “us”), based in League City, Texas. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information only, not professional advice

The Site describes our business consulting services and provides general information. Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice, and you should not rely on it as such. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.

2. No client relationship until agreed in writing

Visiting the Site, calling or emailing us does not create a consulting or client relationship. A client relationship begins only when we both sign a written engagement agreement, which will govern our services. Until then, please do not send us confidential or sensitive information.

3. No guarantee of outcomes; independent business

We help businesses identify and pursue resources such as loans, grants, programs and partnerships. We are not a lender, do not make credit decisions and cannot guarantee that any application, loan, grant, program or introduction will be approved, funded or successful. Final decisions rest with the lenders, agencies and organizations involved. We are an independent business and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the U.S. Small Business Administration or any other government agency, unless we expressly say so in writing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, the Baker & Broderick name and logo, and the Site's design, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

6. Third-party websites

The Site may link to third-party websites, programs or resources. We provide these links for convenience only, do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site is complete or current.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAKER & BRODERICK AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and does not govern services provided under a separate written agreement.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Baker & Broderick and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Galveston County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
