Privacy Policy

Effective November 6, 2026 · Last updated November 6, 2026

Baker & Broderick Business Consultancy (“Baker & Broderick,” “we,” “us”) is based in League City, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through bakerandbroderick.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep things simple: the Site has no contact forms, no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you call, text or email us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, business name and details about your business and what you need help with.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, our Site is delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver and protect the Site, Cloudflare processes technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, referring website and the date and time of the request. We use this information only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.

What we do not collect

Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or tax documents, by ordinary email. If our work together requires documents like these, we will arrange a secure way to share them.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example, to tell people apart from automated bots). These cookies do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising.

3. How we use information

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share or process personal information for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months. We disclose information only:

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Correspondence with people who do not become clients is generally deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the length of our engagement and as long afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax and professional obligations. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a short period set by its own policies.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and access controls on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, and whether a particular law applies to us, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

These rights are provided by state privacy laws including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia, among others. We extend them to all visitors regardless of where they live, to the extent we reasonably can.

How to make a request

Email info@bakerandbroderick.com with the subject “Privacy Request,” or call (832) 346-7785. We will need to verify your identity, usually by confirming information we already have. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and confirm your identity directly. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you why. We will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing info@bakerandbroderick.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact the Attorney General of your state.

8. Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track”

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale of personal information and targeted advertising, although we do neither. Because the Site does not track visitors over time or across other websites, it works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities across different websites through our Site.

9. Additional state disclosures

California. This Policy is intended to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act. In the past 12 months, the categories of personal information we have collected are identifiers and contact details (such as name, phone number and email address), commercial and professional information you choose to share about your business, and internet or network activity (technical log data). We collect them from you and from your device, for the purposes in Section 3, and disclose them only as described in Section 4. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use or disclose sensitive personal information. Under California's “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Texas. We do not sell personal data, including sensitive personal data. Texas residents may exercise the rights described in Section 7.

Nevada. We do not sell covered information as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents may still send an opt-out request to info@bakerandbroderick.com.

10. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as lenders, government programs or business organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice, such as a notice on the Site.
